Mt. San Antonio College 1st Place Men's 4-Mile Final - CCCAA Cross Country Championships 2017

Mt. San Antonio College wins its first state team title since 1989 and second in program history with a 60-65 victory over Riverside College at the CCCAA finals at Woodward Park in Fresno.  The Mounties, who became the first team since Orange Coast College in 2004 to win both team titles was led by Manny Fernandez, who was the individual winner as he clocked 20:06.8.  Anthony Alfaro was second (20:29.4), Luis Huerta placed 16th (20:44.1), Jose Melchor finished 18th (20:53.5) to round out the scoring runners. Hector Peralta (22nd - 20:57.2) and Tre Waters (26th - 21:06.8) were the sixth and seventh runners for the Mounties.
