Daniel Abdala and Lorenzo Orozco of Mt. SAC finished in fourth (21:18.6) and ninth (21:39.3), respectively, in the men's 4-mile race and helped the Mounties, the two-time defending state champions, secure a berth in the state finals with a second-place team finish at the Southern California Community College Cross Country Championships at Mission Bay Park in San Diego, Calif.
