Ethan Amata of Mt. San Antonio College in California won the men's elite college section by clearing 15-11 (4.85m) on his first attempt at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Nevada. Amata and Parker Terrill, an unattached athlete from Cal, both made 15-11 on their first opportunity. Terrill needed two tries at 15-7 (4.75m), with Amata achieving the tiebreaker after clearing the height on his first attempt.
