San Antonio College won its first California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional men's team title since 2018 with a 40-43 victory against San Diego Mesa College at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach. Johnathon Zavala was second for the Mounties, covering the 8-kilometer layout in 19:15.7, Matthew Donis finished fourth in 19:30.5, Jordan Galindo secured sixth in 19:49.2, Christian De Loye moved up six spots in the second half of the race to grab 11th in 20:04.9, Joel Fischer achieved 17th in 20:10.5, Aidan Gomez captured 21st in 20:20.1 and Andres Chavez earned 27th in 20:31.4 for the Mounties, who are seeking back-to-back state championships for the second time in program history and a fifth team crown overall Nov. 18 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
