The Mt. San Antonio College men's team placed five runners in the top 19 en route to winning its second straight team title with a 49-90 victory over El Camino College at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. The Mounties were led by Salvador Capetillo, who finished second at 20:20.5 in the men's 4-mile race. Chris Weiland (20:35.4) and Colby Penn (20:49.7) finished sixth and 11th, respectively, to earn All-America honors. Ralph Mendoza was 15th (20:51.9) and Luis Huerta took 19th (20:54.6) to round out the scoring runners for Mt. SAC, which won its third state title in program history.
